Diagnosis
Scape narrow; setae on mesoscutum, scutellum and submarginal vein equally thick; midlobe of mesoscutum with one pair of setae, situated posteriorly. Similar to crassiseta, but with setae on mesoscutum, scutellum and submarginal vein equally thick (crassiseta with setae on thoracic dorsum twice as thick as setae on submarginal vein), and with larger meshes of reticulation on mesoscutum and scutellum.

Costa Rica.
Biology
From "pustule gall" on Inga vera (Mimosaceae) and galls on Coussapoa villosa (Moraceae) (galls caused by Diptera: Cecidomyiidae).
